Biology TEKS Tracker (STAAR)

Finally something for High School Science. This document is made exclusively for use with the adopted 2017 streamlined standards for the Biology TEKS as approved by the State Board of Education on April 21, 2017 with an effective date of August 27, 2018.

It can be used to record, track and monitor mastery of each standard included in the course: as an overall running record for the teacher’s entire course load, by class section (period), or as an individual student profile. It includes a place to record which assessments are included in the tracker and provides state literature on the process standards. In addition, the standards are organized by reporting category with the readiness standards emboldened. White space reserved for notes follows each reporting category so that you can keep track of ideas and observations from/for your lessons.

Now you can see when standards have been (re)tested, if students are improving towards mastery of the standards (readiness especially) and which standards you have yet to teach or assess. You'll never NOT know how your students are doing again. Your tracker reveals the entire course load for the whole year in one document!
