Biology TEKS- FULL PAGE- "I Will", "Student Will" and "We Will" Statements

This document contains the updated 2018 streamlined TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills).

Each TEK is attached with the title of the reporting category along with the TEK number/letter. The way this document is organized is with the main title of the category, TEK number, and type of standard as the first page, and the second page is the full text of the TEK.

Each TEK is organized by category and either by "I Will", "Student Will" and "We Will" statements. You also have the option of printing in color or in black and white.

There are many ways to utilize this document in your classroom, especially for the purpose of planning, using in the lesson cycle and of course for evaluations by your administrators. I personally like to print these out, laminate them and then attach magnets behind the documents and place them on my dry erase board next to my objectives. As part of the lesson cycle, I make sure my students understand what we are learning and what is needed from them on their part, so I review the TEKS with them.

I know another way to utilize this document is to print them, and have a sheet protector stapled onto a bulletin board, so you only have to switch out the TEKS for your objectives.
