Description

This is a two page, brief overview of how to read and interpret a pedigree when looking at genetic inheritance. This text covers the following:

- What a pedigree is and what they tell us

- Symbols on a pedigree and what they mean

- The different types of pedigrees

- How to read a pedigree and tell which type of trait is being mapped

- Dominant/Recessive, Sex-linked/Autosomal

This product also includes an ANSWER KEY and a 1 page PRACTICE PAGE to label and explain the pedigrees as well as drawing and labeling a pedigree.
