Biography Report templates that can be used as a graphic organizer, lap book, or template for a biography project, such as writing a biography research report or summary on any historical person. It's a great resource for Black History Month, Women's History Month, and to make a wax museum project for second grade, third grade, fourth grade, or fifth grade.
Students use graphic organizers, activities, and various report options for a biography report presentation or to complete a genre study of biographies. Includes scaffolded graphic organizers for research, genre posters, full-page report pages, half-page report pages, trifold report, lap book in two sizes, and construction paper people in two sizes.
To complete this project, students:
- Read biographies about a person (Click here for biographies written for grades 3-5)
- Use an included graphic organizer to take notes while reading about the person or watching a video about the historical person (Click here for QR codes with links to websites and videos about historical people)
- Write the information on either the full-page or half-page report pages or the trifold page.
- Create a display of the report using a lap book option or the biography person combined with a lap book.
Students research, write and create a creative display of their historical person.
This Biography Report is perfect for a living biography project or wax museum activity or presentation. It can be used for any historical person and is great for social studies biography unit or reading informational writing and research unit. It includes five different report options with a variety of pages from which to pick and choose.
