Biography Book Report Project | Research Activity for Upper Elementary
- PPTX
Description
Bring history to life with biography book reports, and an optional wax museum component! Students research someone from history (or present-day if you'd like to give them that option) and write a report. Pages are included for both a book report format, as well as a simple research format.
When I taught this unit in my own 4th grade classroom, I had students read a biography (most students read a "Who Is/Was" book). Many students chose to do additional research on their historical person because they wanted to know more than what was offered in the book. We invited parents to a wax museum that was hosted in our classroom. Students dressed up like the person they researched and gave a short speech about the great contributions of their historical person.
