This is a cover sheet for student binders that includes important words and phrases for everyday classroom life, including requests, opinions, and partner work vocabulary. It can be used for virtual as well as real binders, or as an online of hard copy vocabulary handout. Students can look up and use the phrases they need to communicate in class, which helps them stay in the target language.

For a real binder, the cover can be individualized by running it on different colors of paper for different levels or classes, write the student's name into the top box, adding the level behind the word "Deutsch", and/or adding stickers. Students can also draw small illustrations for each box so they can find the topic more quickly and have a personal connection to the vocabulary.

The document can also be enlarged and printed as a poster to hang in the classroom.
