Description
This hands-on activity is a fun way to help your children practice differentiating between big vs. small. There are two sets of sorting cards included in this resource. In the first activity, the children will sort the cards into big objects vs. small objects. The second sorting activity is a little more challenging. The children will compare the size of three different objects and then sort them by small, smaller, smallest or big, bigger, biggest. (NOTE: The children are sorting the cards by visualizing the size of the objects in real life - not by the size of the pictures on the cards.)
These cute and colorful cards can be used as a whole class “circle time” activity or in small group instruction. They can also be put in a center for the children to work on individually.
