I have some students who have a difficult time not being first. This social story was a great resource to use to have my students understand this concept.
I loved this social story, especially the digital component so I was able to add the book to a google slide and show the entire class at once. My students were engaged while reading the book and had engaging questions while reading.
Description
This Social Story teaches students how sometimes they want to be first and how it is okay if they are not first to in call to be called or to finish their work. It gives them strategies on how to deal with not always being first and explains to them why they cannot always be the first to do everything.
