Description

Use behavior sorting file folder activities for one-on-one instruction and independent station work for classroom management and behavior support. Behaviors must be explained and positive prosocial behavior taught in order for students to successfully access their educational curriculum.

Behavior activities such as these file folders are meant to be used as teaching tools to discuss behavior before an incident occurs in order to provide students with the necessary skills to positively manage their behavior when the time arises.

The time a student is in crisis should not be used as a teachable moment. These behavior activities can be used after an individual has deescalated to review behavior choices.

Freebie Alert for all teachers of students with special needs IEPs or 504s in your classroom! Click here to get IEP Documents checklists with tips and a student observation template.
