Tiered Behavior Interventions
Simple yet thorough definitions and strategy mega list for each RTI behavior tier. My vision in compiling these lists from top sources was for teachers to have a go to sheet to pull out any of the following scenarios and more!
- Bring this list with you to RTI or PSST meetings to help create the actionable step on a student's action plan.
- Pull this list out when writing an IEP to help you develop their accommodations page.
- Bring this list with you when a teacher asks you for help. Begin by observing the student having a challenging time and check off any strategies you observe. Debrief with the teacher privately after the observation and praise them for strategies that were used. Provide them a list and encourage them to take on 1-2 new strategies.
- Use this list as a self check for your own classroom management. Let it guide you in tightening up your rock solid teaching.
Social/Behavior Mapping
This kit includes four different behavior maps
- one open
- one with pictures to be circled (great for students with autism!)
- one with pictures and an open space to draw or write
- a positive map.
- I have also included a page full of tips and tricks.
Special educators and those working in general education can use this resource
- in the cool down corner
- as a consequence or reward
- as a means of behavior data collection
- as a powerful tool for communication between school and parents

Small Group Behavior Data
Interventions, Resource, both Special Education and General Education teachers will appreciate a quick print data collection sheet to be used for IEPs, RTI, and even just classroom information. As a young teacher, I used to have a data sheet for each goal for each kid. Things are much more streamlined now! Now I use theses sheets (my preference is weekly) that include all students in the group and all of their goals. It also helps lesson planning go much faster as this sheet also reminds me what the kids in the group are working on.
This sheet includes
- Teacher name, week (date), and group #
- Student name and goals
- Student data including percentages, trials, prompting, additional materials (such as supplemental aides)
- Behavior including on task, off task, removed, & absent
Single page sheet (two included- one color, one black and white), fill it in digitally and then it's just print and go!
