Beginning of the Year: Back to School Icebreaker Activity FREE

This activity 'Myself as a Superhero' is a fun and different way to start to get to know your students at the beginning of the year. It integrates literacy and art. Not much prep required depending on the art technique you choose to explore (you could easily just use crayons/pencils if you have no time for prep).

Included in the download is a lesson plan plus two worksheets that will need to be photocopied to carry out the activity.

Your kids will love transforming into superheroes! I've used this activity when meeting new students several times, and they have all enjoyed it.
