Beginning Sounds Assessment packet (10 pages)

Phoneme Isolation

"Circle the word that has the same beginning sound as the word in the box"

Included in this packet is 10 pages that can be used as a Beginning Sounds assessment tool for Phonemic Awareness (phoneme isolation). Students will be able to identify the beginning sounds of a word and find another word with the same beginning sound from the set provided. The directions state; reading the words from the boxes provided, are the students able to identify another word that has the same beginning sound as the word in the box. Do run and ram begin with the same sound? Or do mop and not have the same beginning sounds? Test your students phoneme isolation skills or use to brush up on a fun beginning sounds activity.

Included in this packet is 10 different pages used as an assessment tool or simply phoneme isolation activity to use with your students.
