Beginning Diagraphs Find and Cover Center or Small Group Activity Sheets

Use these engaging resources as centers or with small groups to have students find and cover the beginning diagraphs ( sh- , ch- , th- , wh- , kn- , qu- , wr- , and ph- ). You can play find and cover with a basic handout or a shape handout. You can use the shape handout with or without the word list on the page by cutting it out. Choose whichever you prefer. There are also vocabulary flash cards with images to teach the new words or to use as game cards to pick up a card and then find that picture. You can dab, circle, colour, or laminate these and then use them with dry erase markers, small manipulatives, or other materials to indicate which pictures go with which each diagraph.
