The first step in learning this complex and rewarding language s to study the building blocks. Hiragana is the first vocabulary within learning to read and write Japanese and grasping it and practicing its symbols should be your first stop. Many of the Japanese symbols used are subtly changed to represent the depth of sounds so this lesson focuses on the first set of the Hiragana used everyday in the language. The writing practice areas let the user perfect their writing of the symbols while learning their meaning and a few words along the way.
