Description
This activity gives students the chance to be the teacher! The students can choose from 20 different math standards in all areas: Numbers & Operations, Geometry & Measurement, Data Analysis and Algebra.
The students can choose to teach the lesson through a variety of ways. If technology is available, Educreations & Explain Everything are great apps for students to teach a lesson through. Otherwise, students can do it in front of the class with a SmartBoard or Whiteboard!
Students are required to:
- Teach a lesson
- Include practice problems to do together
- Create an assessment
- Create an extra activity
Included in the Product:
- Directions Sheet
- Five standard sign up sheets (20 different standards in kid friendly language)
- Student Planning Sheet
- Exit Ticket Template
- Kahoot Quiz Template
- Task Card Template
- Rubric
