In this lesson, students will learn details about both the British and the Patriot sides during the Revolution which include strengths and important facts about the Battle of Bunker Hill, the Battle of Long Island, The Crossing of the Delaware River and the capture of the Hessians at Trenton along with the scattering of British forces at Princeton. The lesson ends with the capture of Burgoyne's forces at the Battle of Saratoga. The lesson also includes adiscussion of the British strategy during the Revolutionary War.
