Basic Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs - Popsicle Stick Exit Ticket /Task Cards

This bundle includes popsicle stick "exit tickets" to practice and review basic parts of speech. Each sentence card has a fill-in the blank sentence and students need to choose 1 of 2 choices to make the sentence complete and grammatically accurate.

What it is:

• Before leaving the classroom, students choose a popsicle stick, read the simple sentence out loud to you and choose the correct word to complete the sentence
• High five and they leave the room
• Also included are task card answer sheets if you choose to do this as task cards instead of an exit routine

Why?

• Reinforces common sight words and sentence patterns
• Uses mainly simple sentences with some variation in sentence structure - great for elementary or EAL/ESL learners

How to use it:

• designed to fit onto large size popsicle sticks (print @ 100 %) or
• print on cardstock and cut at desired size
• Sentence cards are glued onto large size popsicle sticks and kept in a cup or pouch near the door (labels included as BONUS file)

• Students can move around the room with their recording sheet, reading the sentences and recording the correct answer on their sheet
