What educators are saying

This was exactly what I was looking for to work on describing with my non-verbal students who use AAC devices. It was very simple yet robust, and I loved that there were many examples for each concept.

Description

Basic concepts are a part of a good foundation for language and for life. Are you looking for a way to work on these concepts with your children? Do you have ESL or ELL learners who would benefit from targeted language therapy? This is the bundle for you! This set of 202 basic concepts cards is perfect for working on every area of language concepts. This includes: negation, temporal, quantitative and qualitative language.

The following concepts are included:

  • Colors
  • Same/Different
  • Big/Little
  • Hot/Cold
  • Empty/Full
  • Fast/Slow
  • Long/Short
  • Hard/Soft
  • Open/Closed
  • Asleep/Awake
  • On/Off
  • Outside/Inside
  • Up/Down
  • New/Old
  • In/Out
  • Emotions
  • Top/Middle/Bottom
  • Small/Medium/Large
  • First/Last
  • Loud/Soft
  • Various Prepositions
  • Day/Night
  • More/Less
  • Negation
  • All/None

Each card has a clear instruction at the top and a colored picture to use for the concepts. Simply print out the cards, laminate if you want them to be durable and use. I like to keep my card sets on a giant ring, but you could store and use them in many ways. A handy table of contents is also provided.

Please be sure to leave feedback for credit towards future purchases. I will be releasing many new language sets, so follow my store for information about new releases and sales. #june2019slpmusthave
