Barn Quilt Lab

Immerse students in math, science, art and history as they learn about barn quilts and make their own. Great way to utilize cross-curricular knowledge!

You will need to supply graph paper

If you do not have access to a shop you could pre-cut the boards for students and still use this lab. You could also do this with posterboard or other material.

Easy to alter for your specific safety rules/requirements/needs

I use the paint list as a shopping list to buy the colors students request but you could purchase the paint and make a list of what is available for students to use.

I like for students to create something meaningful to them so they can take the finished product home but this is not required!
