What educators are saying

Oh my goodness we had so much fun with this activity. I had the kids also try it with helium balloons and we had our own parade around the school with each child having two creations to show off.
My students had so much fun with this and learning about the balloons in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

    Description

Get Ready for the BEST Thanksgiving Week Ever!

Code a parade. Build a Parade Balloon. Test your creativity with Turkey and Balloon Challenges including Thanksgiving finish the picture activities.

Thanksgiving Creativity Challenges are great for engaging students during morning work, early finishers, or add some creative thinking tasks to your Thanksgiving classroom activities!

Have a classroom Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Make learning fun with the Thanksgiving STEAM challenge in which students design their very own Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloon!

Not only do students design the balloon, but as an added challenge they must create a device to keep it floating in the air!

You can also integrate a green screen for some extra Thanksgiving Fun!

In the Thanksgiving Coding Challenge, students complete the program plan sheet to think through the goal of their program (to make it from start to finish while avoiding all of the obstacles). They test their code with hands on cutouts and fix any bugs.
