Description
It's Back to School time! A great way to ease those first day jitters is to let students use LEGOS and clay to introduce themselves. Each student gets one or more task cards. Students can either use LEGOS (or other building blocks) or modeling clay to respond to the task. Students can then take a photo and project their work, or you can conduct a gallery walk letting students explain their structures and creations.
Some sample tasks are:
Build It! What is your favorite food?
Sculpt It! If you could have one super power, what would it be?
Build It! What is something that puzzles you?
Sculpt It! Something that makes you smile
What a great way to get your high school students back to working with their hands!
You will need:
LEGOS or other building blocks
Modeling clay
