Back to School Packet & PowerPoint - Letter, Behavior Contract, Syllabus

Start off the school year with an organized plan of action--great for first year teachers! This 4-page packet (and accompanying 17-slide PowerPoint for teachers to present on first day) given to students on the first day of school introduces students to class content and procedures. It includes 1) a letter of introduction to students and parents, 2) Behavior Contract with rules and consequences, 3) 2-sided syllabus outlining the class and procedures. This is sent home with students for parents to read and sign. I have also attached a PowerPoint that goes along with this packet. Use/modify if you wish (it's geared toward a 7th grade Language Arts/Social Studies classroom, but can be modified to fit any grade level or subject area)!
