Description
Begin the year with classroom discussions to help your students get to know each other during the first weeks of school! This pack will not only build a sense of community in your classroom but will help your students feel included and cared about because they matter!
These slides help you facilitate discussions in your classroom. Students can share with a partner, small group, or whole group. You can also print the slides and post the questions around the room. Then have students carousel around the room answering questions in small groups.
The questions serve as sentence stems so students can practice asking and answering questions, answering the entire question, and speaking in complete sentences.
What's Included:
There are 30 slides with get to know you questions. Use one a day and get to know your students all month long. Some sample questions are:
- Tell about a time you were proud.
- If you could have any pet, what would it be? Why?
- If you had 3 wishes, what would you wish for?
- What are the qualities of a good friend?
