What educators are saying

These were absolutely adorable! What a great back to school activity for the kids to complete. I had so many compliments from other teachers. Thank you!
I do this with my new students every beginning of the year, They love choosing the character and putting it up in the classroom

Description

Your students have a BRIGHT YEAR ahead! Help them plan their success by setting and recording goals for what they want to achieve this school year. Add an adorable portrait of themselves wearing sunglasses and hang them together for a motivating back to school bulletin board. Distance learning this coming school year? No problem! I've now included a digital version in Google Slides.

What's Included?

  • teacher directions with pictures
  • 3 differentiated writing templates with and without handwriting lines
  • "Thinking About My Goals" brainstorming sheet
  • student templates (face, hands, hair, mouth, sunglasses)
  • 8 different hair templates (4 boy, 4 girl)
  • letter templates that spell "We've Got a BRIGHT YEAR ahead!"
  • *NEW* digital option in Google Slides

Tell Me More About the Digital Option!

With many schools starting the year with distance learning, I wanted to give you a digital option of this resource. The Google Slides link included in this PDF file has these 15 slides:

  • digital versions of each of the original differentiated writing templates and brainstorming sheet
  • option for students to insert a picture of themselves wearing sunglasses
  • option that doesn't require students to insert a picture
  • cover slide if you choose to make a Google Slides presentation with all the students' goals

Please note: most of the slides do not have much that is editable by you. Please see the preview for a description of what is and is not editable.

Studies show that people who write down their goals have a higher success rate at achieving them!
