Description
This back to school exercise movement activity will help to break the ice and get your kids up and moving, giggling and having lots of fun! Included are 20 different yes and no getting to know you questions for students to answer.
After answering students must complete an assigned number of the yes or no corresponding exercise. You can decide at the beginning of the activity how many of each you want to assign. I usually do 20 but wanted to leave that up to you.
This game is great for a PE warm up, back to school ice breaker, social distance whole group activity, distant learning at home assignment, indoor recess and for brain breaks. You have several choices for how to implement this activity. You can print, laminate and have kids move to see each card and complete it. You can do whole group on your projector and complete as a class. You can also do as a tagging game and each student has a question card. When they tag someone new they give them that card to complete and then tag someone new.
Exercise tasks include: arm circles, v sit stretch, toe touches, side bends, quad stretch, arm stretch, tricep stretch, alternate toe touch, splits, run in place, plank, curl ups, push ups, jumping jacks, leg lifts, side leg lift, sit and reach stretch, jumping, hopping, squats, balance walk and donkey kicks.
