Back To School Jitter Juice Activities : Poem, Recipe, Label, Flip Book SEL

This back to school first day or week activity will help cure all jittery students. This can be used for social-emotional learning. I included lots of differentiation sheets so you can include ALL students in this activity.

This package includes:

1.Jitter Juice Poem

• Just the poem black and white (2 font choices)
• Just the poem color (2 font choices)
• Rebus reading (picture with words reading) - 3 styles

2.Jitter Juice Recipe

• empty recipe that students fill in
• written recipe and instructions
• picture recipe and instructions

3.Jitter Juice Labels

• Color (small, large)
• Black and white (small, large)
• Black and white save ink (small, large)

4.Feeling Flip Book

5.Jitter Juice Review Activity

I included a few versions of the recipe and poem. Give each student the confidence they need at the beginning of the school year!

It is so important that each student feels like they can, so if you see a student struggling to follow along with the poem, slip onto their desk a rebus version of the poem and watch them smile :)

Some teachers like to make one large pitcher of “jitter juice”. Some teachers do it as centers. Whichever way it gets done, remember to bring along lots of paper towels!!!
