BUNDLE - Robotic Parts Lesson (Structured/Motion/Electronic Parts)

Each lesson is an introduction (WEEK LONG) lesson for students to learn and review the parts of the VEX IQ (1st Gen) kit before they start building. The entire kit can be broken up into 3 small sections for easy learning (Structured Parts/Motion Parts/Electronic Parts) THIS BUNDLE INCLUDES ALL 3

• Study Guide (Digital and Printed copy)
• Study Guide Answer Key
• Powerpoint of all Structured Parts with pictures and names
• Quizizz game link (Bonus Game link to "Gimkit" included)
• Test on Google Forms (Test is set to grade itself/ Answer key included)

Suggested Lesson Plan

• Monday - Students receive the Study guide (either digital or printed) and the powerpoint to find the answers to complete their study guide.
• Tuesday - Review study guide answers and discuss strategies to remembering parts
• Wednesday - Students can match up the actual physical part in the kit with the parts listed on the study guide. Discussion about how they think this part will be used during the project builds
• Thursday - Quizizz Class game in TEAM MODE. Can reward the winning team with a treat after discussing the hardest questions, acknowledging the 100%'s, and class average grade.
• Friday - TEST DAY! Students take the Structured Parts Test on Google forms. (Lockdown Browser is available in Google forms to keep students from cheating)

In the past I have taught Structured and Motion parts the 1st two weeks then constructed builds that consisted of only Structured and Motion parts. Then learned the Electronic parts and done builds including those parts.
