■ How to use (Suggested plan)

STEP 1  Pre-reading

• Story cards (poster sheet): Cut out the poster sheets into pieces as story cards beforehand. Give each pair/group of students the cards and let them find the order of cards (story). In this way, learners can guess/predict the story and try to read.
• Digital book: Show the digital book on a screen and read the story to your students. You can also print them out and show it as kamishibai style.

STEP 2  Read the story (please choose mini book or one page story)

• Mini book:Give your students the mini-book sheet. You can prepare booklets beforehand or let students make them during the lesson. Read the story aloud with your students.
• One page story sheet: Give your students the one page story. Read the story aloud with your students.

STEP 3  Colour the illustration and Read more

• Colour the illustration: Let students colour their mini-book/one page story. During this time, you can go around the student to have each student read the story with you individually. 
• Reading log: Use the reading icon to complete reading the story three times. You can also use them for teacher’s stamp/sticker space. 

STEP 4  Quiz ( at the end of lesson or the next class )

• Quiz A: Students cut out the words and glue them along with appropriate illustration. They can read the story again if needed.
• Quiz B: Students write the indicated words along with appropriate illustration. They can read the story again if needed.
• Poster: You can display it in your classroom so that your students can refer them as needed
