BUNDLE 5th Grade Guided Math Place Value and Multiplication Lessons Plans

Do you feel like you are struggling teaching Place Value & Multiplication during your math block? Maybe you need small group materials or math curriculum but you don't have the time to prep them. This Guided Math Place Value & Multiplication Unit allows you to support your students without all the planning and prepping.

On the lesson plan:

1. Mini-Lesson: Each lesson begins with a concise and focused mini-lesson to introduce key concepts and ideas.

2. Small Group Activity: Engage in collaborative learning with a small group activity specifically tailored to reinforce the lesson's content.

3. Remediation Ideas: For students who may need additional support, remediation ideas are provided to address any potential learning gaps.

4. On-level Ideas: The lesson also offers on-level ideas to cater to students who are progressing at an expected pace.

5. Above Level Ideas: To further challenge and engage advanced learners, above level ideas are included to push their understanding beyond the standard curriculum.

In addition to these instructional components, you will find the following materials to support classroom work and independent practice:

- 2 pages for classwork: Use these pages to actively apply the lesson's concepts and solidify understanding.

- Exit Slip: Evaluate your student's comprehension and reflect on the lesson's main points with a brief exit slip activity.

- 2 pages for homework: Reinforce learning outside the classroom through assigned practice exercises on these pages.

- Interactive Notebook: This resource provides a convenient way to take notes during the lesson, both in traditional paper format and digitally. *NOTE* These are NOT the same ones used as Guided Math Notes.

- Hands On Activities: Most lessons include a spinner or various games for students to utilize during centers and rotations.

- Assessment: At the conclusion of the unit, a comprehensive assessment is provided to measure your understanding and ensure mastery of the material.
