These posters include the original TEKS language written in “I Can” statement format. The standards are NOT rewritten in kid friendly language, as many districts and administrators are emphasizing the importance of using the exact wording of the TEKS in order for students to master the academic language presented in the TEKS.

This set includes each TEK for 4TH GRADE on 8.5 x 11 pages and can be easily resized for multiples per page such as 2, 4, or 6 per page for mini posters. A “Printing Tips” page is included to help you with the best print style to fit your classroom needs. Print in color or grayscale!

I’ve also included different display header options for you to display the posters and refer to them by TEK category should you wish to do so. There are two blank headers should you wish to create others not listed.

There are many other ways to use these posters – especially in printing multiple sizes. Maybe you prefer the full size pages to display on a bulletin board while printing four to a page to display with student work or with learning centers.

Some teachers prefer to laminate and hole punch. I prefer to have mine in a three ring binder with each standard in it’s own page protector. I’ve included category divider pages as well as the TEK listed on each page for easy organization within a binder. It take me less than a minute to change these out each day for a self contained classroom.

- Display Headers (to help with display, especially if displaying multiple subjects or TEK categories)

- TEKS Posters (One TEK per page, but may be printed multiple per page for mini posters, print in color or grayscale)
