Early Finisher Word Puzzles
Grades 5–6
Brainteaser Words • Fun Puzzles for Early Finishers is a set of 28 Task Cards for word play FUN! Each Task Card has a word with the beginning and ending letters missing. Students play detective to discover the missing letters which happen to be the SAME! Each line in the word stands for a missing letter. Once students discover the missing letter, they write the word on their Student Record Sheet. Great for early finishers!

In addition to the Brainteaser Words Task Cards, this unit also includes the following:
• a Student Record Sheet for students to record their answers
• an Answer Key
• blank templates for you or your students to add additional words
• directions for playing Scoot
• an Award Certificate
For extra durability, laminate the Task Cards before cutting them apart. They look awesome in color but reproduce great in grayscale.
