What educators are saying

I purchased this product for my advanced math students who whiz through just about everything. This was a great challenge for them.

Description

This deck of 21 Boom Cards is in a drag and drop, fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, and paperless format. Students will create line plots with given data sets of measurements with fractional units and answer questions about the line plots. Students will receive immediate feedback. This resource is perfect for 4th, 5th, or 6th grade students to practice creating line plots and solving problems using the information presented in the line plots. It is also a wonderful resource for teachers to use for distance learning!

This deck features a fun Earth Day theme!

The Boom cards in this deck align with:

CCSS:4.MD.B.4: Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Solve problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions by using information presented in line plots.

CCSS:5.MD.B.2: Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots.

Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Solve problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions by using information presented in line plots. For example, from a line plot find and interpret the difference in length between the longest and shortest specimens in an insect collection.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
