What educators are saying

These are so common sense smart for restroom management. I use the sheet with numbers, as my students are assigned class numbers, and I can quickly tell if students are going frequently, and there is no prep for me!
I've got a lot of students who like to take multiple bathroom avoidance trips. This resource helps to limit those trips.

Description

With everything on your plate you certainly don't want to spend time documenting students' trips to the restroom, but sometimes it is necessary. This resource makes it easy! I get it. I really do. You are a busy teacher with lots of important things to do...99.6% of which are more important than monitoring when your kiddos use the bathroom. However, in a world where data rules, doing so can be an important tool. Also, many schools require you keep track for safety reasons.

If you need to keep track of when your students are leaving the classroom, this printable resource will make things easier for you. It's part of my popular Classroom Management Bundle.

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

a variety of sign-out sheets to monitor restroom visits (editable)

5 REASONS TEACHERS LOVE THIS RESOURCE:

► There are a variety of options in this download including editable pages.

► You can print and copy the pages for the entire year at once...TIME SAVER!!

► If there are any issues in the restroom (vandalism, bullying, general silly hijinks) and adminstration wants to know who was in there you will have a record available.

► If a student is using the bathroom as an avoidance tactic to get out of academic tasks you will have data to present to the team so you can develop strategies to help the student.

► If you are concerned about a medical issue you will have documented information to share with the parents.

Children are less likely to misbehave or use the bathroom as an escape from schoolwork if they are aware they are being monitored.

REAL TEACHER TESTIMONIALS

☺ Meredith F. said..."This works perfectly with the bathroom cards! I like having a written record of how many times a student is in the restroom a day.”

☺ Brian H. said...“Absolutely love this! Perfect to show parents at conferences if so and so is using the bathroom each day during a certain time to avoid the subject. Thus they aren't learning!”

☺ a teacher said..."I love this! This is a great way to keep track of kiddos that are using the bathroom to avoid working-you know they're doing it-this makes it so easy to narrow why! Thanks for sharing!”

☺ Holly S. said...“Took the hassle out of bathroom breaks. My administrator loved it."
