What educators are saying

Excellent mini DBQ question for my class! We did one document as a class and the other solo. Then, I had students answer the prompt. You can't go wrong with this seller!

Description

Aztec and Cortes Primary Source Analysis | How did Cortes deceive the Aztecs?

The Aztec primary source resource is also included as part of the much larger Mesoamerica Unit Bundle here!

In this primary source-based resource, students analyze two documents to understand how Cortes and the Spanish conquistadors used deception to take advantage of and conquer the Aztec tribe. This resource is a great tool to show the true nature of New World colonization as these types of interactions were common. Students submit a short answer prompt once complete.
