Description
This .zip file contains information for students to research an element and create a model of an atom as a unit project in a 6th grade science unit on the properties of matter. This was designed for middle school students in New York City.
Includes:
SMARTboard .notebook lesson presentation, 2 complete lessons, including practice building an atom (12 slides)
2 versions of the model project description and rubrics
1 version of advertisement description and rubric
Presentations serve as lesson plans that guide the teacher through the entire lesson. Presentations include links to related YouTube videos to increase student engagement.
'Ask a question' if you need PowerPoint instead and I can probably re-upload an adjusted file quickly.
