Description

This Slides activity challenges students to compare and contrast the Ancient Greece city-states of Athens and Sparta using a Venn Diagram. The resource actually contains TWO assignments all-in-one.

Slide #1 is a drag-and-drop activity with 16 options, while slide #2 contains clickable text boxes which students can use to write their own thoughts or examples. Please feel free to use both of the assignments or choose the one that best serves your students and standards. The two variations are a great way to provide differentiation! You can also choose to delete any options (from slide #1) that do not fit your standards.

The answer key is included on slides #5.

This is fully editable (see slides #3-4) and can also be used as a handout or as an opening/closing activity. You can also add/delete images, change colors, etc. This activity can also be used on interactive whiteboards (SMART Boards, Promethean, etc.) or assigned to students in 1:1 settings. Simply copy/paste the slide you'd like to assign into a new slide deck, and then assign/share it with your students through Google Classroom or other platforms! Ready to go! For this reason, this is a perfect assignment for Remote Learning, eLearning, or distance learning.
