At Home Get Ready Morning Routine Checklist

This visual print-out is designed to laminate and use daily to help children who have trouble organizing their morning and getting out the door. Executive functioning and behavior are synonymous in the classroom and at home. If there’s a frustrating behavior, likely the student(s) require instruction in the area of need in order to plan better choices in the future. This task analysis is the breaking down of a task in small manageable checklist allowing students/children to take one step at a time. Visuals are a great way to remind the student of the given behavior, especially if their disability also impacts their ability to read.
