This Assessment & Data Tracker for Google Sheets is perfect for Kindergarten teachers looking for a quick and easy way to track data digitally! It's both quick for in class formative assessments and easy to use with simple checkboxes and automatic mastery totals/percentages! These Google Sheets™ are completely editable - change the colors, add/delete rows and columns, and change what you need to fit your needs!

I originally created this resource because I was a Kindergarten teacher drowning in data. I was struggling to keep all of my assessments organized, and going through all of my assessment papers for report cards was so time consuming! This product saved me so much time and all of my data is always in one place for easy access now!

This product was designed for easy digital data collection in Kindergarten and digital grading sheets for teachers who use standard-based report cards or grading systems, but other teachers could benefit from using this product for their formative assessment data as well!

*Each google sheet contains space for 30 student names

*Each google sheet contains color-coded mastery levels set up as 59% mastery or less are highlighted in red, 60-79% mastery are highlighted in yellow, 80% mastery or higher are highlighted in green

    • Class Info: includes basic student info, parent contact info, transportation, login info, RTI/IEP/504 reference info, +more
    • Letter Sounds: all consonant sounds, both short/long vowel sounds, automatic total letter sound mastery percentage per student, color-coded mastery levels, & total class average
    • Letter Names: all uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet, total letter mastery percentage per student, color-coded mastery levels, & total class average
    • Digraphs, Vowel Teams, & Other Sounds:
      • digraphs: sh/ch/th/wh/ph/ng/ck/qu
      • vowel teams: ee/oo/ai/au/ie/ea/oa/oi/ou/ue/ui

      • Includes both standard/skill headings as well as category headings (ex. Reading Foundational Skills, Reading Literature Standards)
      • Set up for a standard-based report card or grading systems as follows:
        • 1= does not meet standards
        • 2=developing/meeting the standard
        • 3=exceeding the standard
        • editable headings so you could change the 1,2,3 to the grading system you use (only includes space for 3 grading criteria)
        • each level is given it's own checkbox for efficiency - just check the 1, 2, or 3, checkbox to show students mastery of the standard/skill and quickly move onto the next student
      • total mastery percentage per standard/skill, color-coded mastery levels, & total class average per standard/skill

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
