Artificial Intelligence Escape Room Digital and Print AI reading Escape Room

Let your students learn about and discover Artificial Intelligence (AI) with this digital and print ELA escape room. This escape room is designed to enhance their nonfiction reading skills while nurturing critical thinking and analysis abilities. This escape room is the perfect blend of rigorous informational text analysis and engagement!

In this comprehensive escape room experience, students will be immersed in four challenges, each centered around informational texts about artificial intelligence. Through engaging text and interactive puzzles, they will put their critical thinking and team work to the test by unlocking codes and developing an understanding of how AI has a place in our world.

Challenge 1: Students will put their knowledge of informational text structures to use. They will analyze 5 short passages and determine which text structure each represents.

Challenge 2: Students will read a paragraph about possible negative aspects of AI and answer multiple choice comprehension questions to crack the code.

Challenge 3: Students will identify the main idea and supporting details of an article that outlines advantages and positive effects of a world with AI available to us.

Challenge 4: Students will read a claim that has been written regarding AI and analyze possible evidence to accurately support the claim.

Students will also be deciphering codes and symbols to collect four different lock codes! Once all codes have been cracked, they will have escaped!
