Art lesson- Japanese- Symmetry/Notan, Kamon/Relief Print.

2 Art lessons where Japanese culture was the inspiration. Lesson 1 focuses on creating a paper image using Symmetry and "Notan" (Light and Dark in Japanese culture). Lesson 2 is a relief print lesson linked to the Japanese "MON" family crest. The Artist Jane Davies is also referenced for her creative backgrounds which pupils create to print onto.
