Art Vocabulary Handout Worksheet Writing and Literacy in Art Class

These art vocabulary handouts can be kept throughout the class and used as a way to teach important art vocabulary words! This handout is simple and to the point and I've found it very useful for helping students remember the names of key concepts and vocab. The art vocabulary handout asks students to write down the name of the word, the definition of the word, and then draw a picture to help remember the word.

This worksheet also works well as a bellringer when beginning class or as part of a sketchbook. This is a great way to tie in writing and reading about art into the art classroom.
