Yr10/ 9th Grade Art lessons (6 in total) linked to the theme of Mixed Media. Pupils experiment and explore a range of media/ techniques:

Oil pastel and watercolour resist.

Tape newsprint transfer.

Tin foil.

Ink drip/splatter.

Ink and water spray.

Cling film and watercolour.

Shaving foam and ink marbling.

Heat gun/plastic shrink.

Paint drag/swipe.

Folded paint.

Watercolour and salt.

Wool ink drag.

Bubble painting.

Leading to a GCSE double page presentation on Mixed Media including a title and border. (I usually go from this into the Damien Hirst Skulls lesson , which is also available to purchase). All lessons include pupil examples, clear Learning Objectives, Success Criteria ,Starter Activities ,Plenaries and Peer Assessment linked to the theme.
