What educators are saying

These are great for a morning work review of skills. My students love being the first to solve the problem.

How this product is different than other math products out there:

  • EVERYTHING IS 100% EDITABLE
  • YOU choose the order of the problems. I know we're all teaching different topics at different times of the year. Choose any problem you want, anytime! Review the lesson from the day before or review something you taught months earlier.
  • You can change any math strategy and wording to make sure it matches what you use in your classroom
  • You get to incorporate your students' names into the questions, getting more buy-in from your students
  • A clickable table of contents gets you to the topic you need, fast.
  • Any changes you make are automatically saved and you can reuse next year.
  • Clean, bright, and easy to read slides won't distract your students.

How I Use Problem of the Day in My Classroom:

Each day when students transition to math, I project a problem on the board. They take out their Problem of the Day notebooks and work to solve the problem. When they're finished, I call up a few students one at a time to show their work on the doc cam and they explain to the class how they solved. I keep track of who has shared each day, so I make sure everyone gets a turn throughout the months. They also love partner-sharing!

You can use this Google Slides presentation however it fits best for you and your students! Use for bell work, as a review of the day before's lesson, or use to review topics you covered months before! You can even print the slides if you prefer a hard copy.
