Around the World Christmas Play Script for 30 or more actors

Celebrate diversity with this sacred and bible-based Christmas pageant script which blends the biblical Christmas story with traditions and customs from Mexico, Germany, Philippines, Sweden, United States, Italy, and China. This pageant was performed many times with rave reviews at a large Catholic school. The pageant performance is between approx. 50 minutes. A class of 30 older students acted out the script while the younger classes participated in the songs and country traditions. The script can be easily adapted, however, for any number of situations such as a small Christian school or a Sunday school by adding or subtracting parts and lines, creating special names for shepherds and angels, using musical interludes, student instrumental playing, and incorporating either traditional Christmas carols or folk songs or using published musical arrangements. The script includes supplemental materials for the teacher or director with scenery and costume suggestions, a props list, music suggestions, excerpts to use for auditions, and a handout with tips for memorizing and practicing lines.
