What educators are saying

While having an "answer" would be nice, I like how it's left open ended! Students had a chance to make their case without feeling like they were wrong. Fun way to practice building an argumentative essay!
My students LOVED this activity!! I had HIGH engagement all day! I've done murder mysteries before but the element of being able to explore the mansion made it so much more engaging for students. I will be using this every year for Halloween now!

Description

This is a google slides game modeled after a murder mystery game. Students will have to work through the game, fill out an evidence log, and eventually write an argumentative essay defending their arrest of the person they think is responsible for the murder. The evidence log seems to be having issues, so I have it listed separately as a free page.
