What educators are saying

I used this resource at the end of our argument unit. My students had a great time using this resource. It hit all the standards and was great fun for the students. It was also rigorous.
Ready-to-use resource that had my students engaged from the very first slide! Can't wait to use again this school year.

Description

Argument Writing Digital Escape Room

This product contains a digital escape room created in 2022 based on an older game for use with paper and Breakout Box kits. Both games are included in the download.

Digital Escape Room: Students must be able to access Google Sites, Forms, and Slides as well as Youtube to play the digital version of the game. They must also have a Google sign-in. No Breakout Box kit is necessary for the digital version.

Paper Room: For the Breakout Box version, students must be able to access YouTube. If you do not have a Breakout Box kit, a Google answer form is included so students can play.

Spice up your study of argumentation with an escape room game! My students loved this activity, and yours will, too! This game is a great review/reinforcement for argument writing skills needed to ace performance tasks, the SAT, the ACT, and many state exams. The following topics are approached in this game:
