Description

A fun and engaging geometry project that will have students demonstrating their knowledge of area of compound shapes while building a dream home! Included in this project are teacher guidelines and basic project information, 1/4 in. grid paper, a project rubric, student requirement and checkpoint packet, and an area work packet.  This resource gives students very detailed instructions and guidelines while also allowing them to be as creative as they want!  Student checkpoints that require a teacher signature are included so that you are able to give students feedback on their progress as they go.  This is a fantastic project for a sixth grade math classroom but can also be used in other grade levels.  Be sure to check out the preview!
