The 'Are you Right?' decodable eBooks were designed for parents, tutors, and teachers as we had noticed that, especially in the beginning stages of a child's literacy journey, there simply weren't enough texts available to help children reach fluency with words containing alphabet sounds.

We were also aware that it was difficult for authors to build engaging and sensible stories in those beginning stages. What is different about our 'Are you Right?' eBooks is:

• The accompanying picture, which will confirm the child's successful reading attempt, is on the following page, not on the same page (or the same page spread).
• Each page containing the text has a light grey background, which is easier on the eyes.
• The words, noun phrases, fragments, and sentences used are all independent of each other.

Our CVC eBooks are perfect for those who are beginning their literacy journey. No heart word knowledge is required, only the knowledge of the focus graphemes (AFIMPST) and the ability to blend together three sounds. Please note that this eBook does contain the capital 's', which is unlikely to cause any confusion but is an opportunity to discuss its use.
