Archaeology Simulation - Earth's History

Next Generation Science Standards

This inquiry-based activity simulates the work of archaeologists. This activity simulates fossil evidence for Pangea, fossil evidence for climate change, and shows how archaeologists use relative time.

This lesson begins with a web activity, and then utilizes a hands on lab investigation. This activity is assessed by a writing component based off of the Common Core standards for writing in the science classroom. A rubric for this assignment is included.
