Archaeologist for a day activity

Fun activity that introduces students to how archaeologists figure out things about the past from found items and artifacts. Usually used with a unit on Ancient people and archaeology. Requires some minimal "prep work" that includes making 4-5 trash bags made of "artifacts". Once created these bags can be reused for each class period or from one year to another.
